Drawing on prominent experts, learning from successful practitioners and integrating the most recent research, participants will learn strategies to:

Examine and address major barriers to teaching and learning

Better articulate standards and develop formative assessments to build data that is meaningful

Improve professional teaching and student learning within schools

Develop and nurture an adult-learning organization thereby creating a culture of professional growth that responds to the needs of children

Support teamwork that engages in collective inquiry to serve as a catalyst for action
